Hello,

Hello I am trying to download a 131mb file over my companies network, however I don't want to because it will tie up too much bandwith. The company doesn't have an FTP alternative solution so I am lost. I guess I will have to start the download when I get ready to go home and check it on monday.

Any ideas would be great!

Thanks

Jump drive?

Or set up your computer as an ftp server and put the file on it, and register the IP address with dyndns.org, and port forward port 21 to the private IP of the computer.

Or---cdrom.

Use the resources your company provides (as long as it's for business purposes). I'm sure that one download won't seriously impact your company bandwidth that much. If it happens all the time, that may be a different story.

Good luck,
