I am not sure whether this is the right place to post this question.
I am have a problem regarding the resolution of my Toshiba Laptop. This is a Satellite Pro. M10-S405 laptop. the resolution on this is now is 1024x768, That is the maxiem it can go. I would like to know is there any third party utility that I can use, so that I will be able to increase the resolution to at least 1280x1024. Anybody have any info about please let me know.

Thanks

The maximum resolution is designed into the manufacture of the LCD screen. Even if you could change it, it would not as clear as the display is designed for that resolution. Why do you feel you want to change it?

micker377 is right. On an LCD panel, the pixels are real physical picture elements, so the driver of the laptop has its resolution and timings adjusted exactly to this resolution. Other resolutions involve approximating pixel position and will give bad results.
