I have a laptop with wireless on it. If I'm surfing the web, can somebpdy else see whats on my computer? If so, how can I protect my laptop for this type if intrusion?

Count me as more sanguine in my response than Spirit above. Properly done, you have no more exposure using a wireless connection than you do a cabled connection to the internet.

Thanks, I do all the normal virus updates, adaware, spybot things already.

I was trying to find out if I was surfing the web can somebody else with a wireless connection get on my laptop.

If so what can I do to prevent it.

 
Enable your firewall. Use WEP. If you are using a cisco router use RADIUS. Turn off services not needed.

Are you using a pos linksys router?
