Is it possible to hook a laptop to a desktop and use the laptop's monitor as a monitor for the desktop? I have consulted some people from work who tell me it's possible then I have other people who tell me it is not possible. Does anyone have any answers or possible suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You!

Direct connection of the screen to the video card in the workstation is not an option. Things work differently. But you could use a software package that redirects IO over a network to use it. One such program is PCANYWHERE.

Another program that can work over a network is MaxiVista. I set it up for my wife to do the free trial. You can try or buy for $20.95 at
