laptop is no longer recognised on my works network after an upgrade from win98 > win2k... the server see's the laptop but no one else on the network can see it. plleeeeeease help... its driving me nutters

Has the laptop been properly configured to see the domain or workgroup.

I'm running WinXP but i know that a win2k computer is much more network complex than a win98. The upgrade probably didn't have enough info to properly configure.

We need more info like what type of server on network. Is the network a domain or workgroup (peer to peer).

What you have tried so far. Type of protocol being used?

BTW what kind of word is "nutters" ? X-)

Good luck. I'll watch this thread, see what you reply, and try to help.
