Laptop - No Modem

Hi, i am thinking of getting a laptop but i want one which i dont have to connect up to a modem to connect to the net so i can do things like surf net while i am on a train or abroad etc. What is the thing i should look for on the laptop so it has this capability?

Well you have two choices:

1. Get a modem and connect through the internet with a cell phone.
2. Get a wireless networking card and only go where there are wireless networks set up.

Not very good choices for what you want to do but that's about it. Pretty much any laptop will do.
