Laptop Monitor Sync rate

I'm currently running redhat 7.2 along with a SiS 630 VGA card on a laptop. None of the monitor presets is compatible with my laptop. I would appreciate some help in customizing the horizontal and vertical sync rate manually. Thank you

I have a laptop with the same chipset. I spent hours without success using Redhat. You'll find that the SiS630 chipset is NOT on the supported hardware list at Redhat.

I gave up and got a copy of Suse Linux. You must opt for "VESA Framebuffer support" and it works fine.
