Hey guys, I really hope someone can shed some light on this problem. For the past few weeks my laptop sporadically drops it's connection. It'll work great for a few minutes then all of a sudden my laptop's wireless indicator light will just keep flashing on and off. It's not my network or router and I can't seem to pinpoint why or how it happens. It's extremely annoying and I'm at my whit's end trying to figure out what's going on. Can anyone help?

what kind of wireless? A,B,G,pre N? what laptop? what OS? how far away are you? are you getting interference from another wireless AP close to you?

XP by default renews the connection every three minutes or so. On some days, my connection (HP laptop with internal G WIFI) gets flaky. It may have to do with the weather, but I'm not sure. Once I get the connection back, I stop the wzcsvc service. I can then keep the connection until I power down, but have to start it up to connect.
I have saved the start and stop commands into a cmd file, so I can just point-and-click

Code:
net stop wzcsvc

Code:
net start wzcsvc
