Laptop and Docking Station

Hi, I have a DELL Lattitude C600 and a CPORT II docking station. When i dock the laptop, the screen shrinks and has a black border around it. I installed the drivers from dells website, but still no luck.. ANyone else run into this??

Have you tried setting a different screen resolution when it's in the dock?

you usually have to do this one time only, but open the lid of the laptop and hit func / F8 or func / F5 it's been awhile but it is one of the func / F something keys that will adjust the display it is not a driver issue. We have a fleet of Dell laptops (several different models) and this happens once in awhile.
