LAPI (Java) - Create Binder by template?

Hi,

my task is to dynamically create a Livelink Binder whenever a special event is triggered in my java application. The binder always has the same structure and attributes. I am pretty new to the LAPI (which is not really intuitive for a java programmer, but that's a different story) and havn't found a hint on how to create such a binder with a predefined template.

Actually I am not sure if the Java LAPI even knows binders.

I do not have access to the OpenText KC, just for info...
