LAPI being replaced

Recently, I had some discussion with OT support staff (basically about the face that J# is to be phased out by MS) and I was a bit shocked to know that LAPI will be officially (Enterprise WebServices are still based on it) out of the business with the end of 9.7 maintenance cycle.

Am I the only one that is having difficulties with this new Opentext statement?

Colin Sim has put a presentation of what is being deprectaed at LAPI,but if J# is replaced my expectation is that vjslib the re-distributale might be around for some more time until OT does away with the java dependencies
