Lantronix UDS-100 losing connection 1

I've installed Lantronix UDS-100s to connect to Option 11s via network. Prob is that frequently unable to connect to switches unless I reboot Lantronix dvc. Anyone have best config method to use to fix this? Prob exists both using Procomm and unix telnet.

mcall..we have Lantronix devices at 37 sites and we connect via telnet. i'll send you the configuration we are using tomorrow from work..it works for us and i've never had a connection problem or a need to reboot.

I'm using lantonix's on a few of my sites & I have an issue with 1 site. I've swapped for lantronix on other sites & the problem stays with network connection not the term server

Here's what we are using for configuration. The baudrate and the DisConnMode seem to make a big difference. If you have any question, pls post them. Hope this helps.

mccall...what port are you using for configuration?

tks, toptater. The only diff between configs was Disconnect Mode. Yours set to 50, mine 00. Since not using password, set mine to 40. Will try for a while and see if fixes prob. Will let you know.

okay, only able to recreate connect failure on one. compared it with config of others in web mgr. Good ones are set to autostart in Connect Mode Settings/Startup. Failed one set to no active connection startup. Changed it to autostart. So far so good.
