Has any one tried using a Lantronix UDS-10 with a FASTRAD? A customer wanted access with out having to dial in to the remote site. With the UDS-10 and the Comm Port Redirector SW. In the Comm Port Redirector I set up COM 4 as the serial port on the UDS-10. This allow me to use the IP network to extend the location of the serial port.
I got it to work with procomm with a direct connect on COM 4 to access the maint port on a Mitel 3300.
But connected to the FASTRAD and using Norstar ICS Remote Tools 10.0 and com 4 won't connect. Do ineed a special serial cable? Any though would be greatly appriciated.
