Lanier 5222 Scanner reboots Dell 850 Server when scans are sent to it

I have a remote branch that has a Lanier 5222 B&W Multi Function device, scanner, printer etc etc....

Yet when a user scans a document and send it to the share on the Dell server it reboots.

Any ideas as to why this may happen?

Never used this scanner...
How is this device setup, as a network attached, connected to a WKS or the server? Does the server have a device driver for it resident?
