Language Problem for HTTP-language-inital="AS"

Using: CE10

While demonstrating some new programmed features I hit this strange problem:

I customized Eportfolio for multi-language use (german / english). If the user is somewhere around the world and logs into Eport the language will be english. This works fine for all requested countries but just for the fun of it we tested the HTTP language token "AS". There we encountered some part of Eport is english but the "Action View" links are completely in german.

Anybody knows what is going on?

Make sure that you don't have German selected as the language option in your IE settings.

CE-10 picks up some settings from IE.

That didn't solve it.

I just left "AS" in the language priority list and still the Action view options are in german.

It seems that there is a specific problem with "AS" found by coincidence. Even an arbitrary chosen language from china or the middle east doesn't have this problem. There everything falls back correct to english.
