Hello

How can you tell what languages install on a 5.3 aix os ...And how do do you load new language

lslpp -L | more

This will give you all the filesets installed and there you will be able to view the languages loaded.

If you want to load new language, you have to load its fileset!

This command:

[tt]locale -a[/tt]

also gives the requested info.


And here are some useful smit shortcuts:

[tt]smit lang
smit mle_add_lang[/tt]
