Any one here have any experience with land desktop 3.
I will fill you in on what has been installed etc so far.
I am running Land Desktop 3 in a Windows XP/2000 environment.
I have tried adjusting the size of the paging file to 1 GB max and also downlaoded the latest graphics drivers from Nvidia in an attempt to resolve the following crash that i am receiving on several of the users stations here.
land desktop 3 has been patched with Service pack 2 for Land Dekstop 3.
The Symptom: User will open a drawing, pan around inside of the drawing maybe add a line sometimes not even get that far before the drawing will freeze up.
Then the user will receive the following message.
Fatal Error: Unhandled Access Violation Writing 0x01ef exception at (changes all the time).
I have tried turning off Xref etc, with no avail.
i have even runa repair on Land Desktop 3 and patched with with service pack 2 again, audited teh file that is being used and resulting in 0 error's.
has anyone seen this before if so do you have a resolution? if not i'll be calling autodesk.
Hopefully someone will answer soon.
thanks
Paul
