I have 2 PCs, both loaded with w2k. One PC is the "master", it has a DSL modem connected to it. The other PC is the "guest" - and I use ICS on the master computer to let the guest computer share the DSL connection. Both PCs have different network cards, but I have set the LAN connection (via crossover cable) correctly and the LAN has been working ever since.
Yesterday, my sister was on the PC, and she managed to crash the master PC, and now - the LAN doesn't work. The LEDs on both network cards do not come on. I am puzzled how this can be, because the LAN was working before and now it wont work.
Any ideas?
