Good Morning, everyone.
We have a small LAN setup with 2 servers and approx. 15 clients. This morning, we had lost our connection to the outside world. We had lost both our external email and the internet. I went and shutdown both servers and restarted them, they both have access to the internet but not one of my clients do. How is this possible? Any Ideas. Thanks in advance!

Could do with a little more info...
How do you access th internet...Router?
Do you use a proxy server?
What o/s are the clients running?
What o/s on the servers?
Have you logged on locally as an administrator and tested to prove User Policy issues?

If 2k pro on clients run ipconfig /flushdns from a command prompt

Have you checked whether the Internet Connection Sharing is still running on the server?

If you turn it back on if its been switched off and then re-set up the clients that should most likely fix your problem.

What is your internet connection setup?
Are the client's going thru a proxy server, router or ICS?
What OS are the server's and client's using?

Actually, the DNS server was causing issues, we reassigned a DNS address and everything is now kosher. Thanks! Appreciate the efforts.
