LAN printer setup?

I am trying to set up Fedora Core 4 to print to a LAN printer. The Savin 2518d has a static IP. Is there any simple way to do this? Linux newbie here...THANKS!

My HP Laserjet 4P works over LAN, and I have to specify for the printer

DeviceURI socket://hp:9100

.
Perhaps it's similar for your model.

gnome-cups-manager is a configuration-tool for gnome - I don't know what to use on kde.

apropos cups

should help.

should work too, if cupsd is up and running.
