Hi

I have a Mandrake 10.0 box, i have setup samba and it works fine, all the workstations connecting to it runs on windows. I want to setup a mailserver on the linux box, it is not connected to the internet. I just want the users to be able to send mail to one another. What is the best but also the easiest way to set this up and configure. If possible can you also point me to a nice howto, i am not the sharpest pencil in the box if it comes to linux.

Thank you plenty

The server should already have the necessary software. Check for "postfix" or "sendmail", and "imap" or "pop". After that's set up, you can add a webmail client like Squirrelmail.

asg.web.cmu.edu/cyrus/imapd/

These should provide a good start.
