LAN Intel/1000 MT problems

I have Dell Optiplex GX260 with intelPro/1000MT LAN adapter.
My network connection fail every 3-4 minutes and I must repair network connection.
Can anybody have similar experience and solution?

turn off power safing for the nic, use proper cat5e cable
