I've installed the client and reboot process many times, The TAPI client never shows up or the DN. The installer finishes fine, is there an updated version out there that isn't on the BCM?

Is your BCM updated with the latest patches? If so, the latest clients should be on it, if not that's the problem.

Not sure what the updated version would be. IIRC we have a maintenance contract with AT&T for the BCM. I usually only contact them if there is an emergency I can't figure out or license purchases.

In the software update history I am seeing 1.00.2.04.j . It's been awhile, but I thought when they replaced our BCM, one of the techs mentioned a 3. out for the BCM50 but you have to pay?

1.00.2.04j is release 1, the earliest version for 50 which is no longer supported by Avaya. The latest version is 50 release 6. You would have to pay. You cannot upgrade from 50r1 direct to 50r6. You would need to upgrade to 50r2/50r3 first, then upgrade to 50r6.

if the problem is on the PC itself, look for julmar phone.exe, you can use this to see if you can control the phone as a means of troubleshooting it.
