Lamps on 4450 Not Lighting

I have a 4450 DSS attached to a 4424. There are buttons assigned to the DSS, and they can be used to answer a call, but they do not light up. Would this be a hardware issue, like a defective 4450? Or am I missing something?

Ta for any advice.

Do you have the necessary local power supply? Line cord goes from wall to power supply to 4424. Then short cable goes from Adjunct port on 4424 to 4450.

Had this same problem, but only on the 1st row of buttons. Avaya sent patch 7903 that corrected
