Labels using mail merge

Hi, can someone help me. I need to help someone print lables for everyone in their address book. What is the best way to do this. I was thinking mail merge but when I try to do that and I get to the part where it says open data source and I go to the outlook express address book it is a bunch of code and not words. Thank you
