Labels on 1300

My customer cannot print labels properly on a hp 1300 from Word. (OS is XP) With the standard label settings, the label at the top of the A4 sheet is ok, lower ones creep down the page. I spent about an hour fiddling about with the settings to no avail. They have several hp 1200's which are fine. I told this 1300 that it was an HP 4 Plus and the labels came out perfectly.
I suspect that ordinary Word docs are wrong too, but it's difficult to be precise.

After having clicked all round the printer properties box, I eventually found one that let you choose between WinPrint and HPPRN (or similar). I selected the second and the thing worked.
Star for me then.

Avery has a utility that makes printing labels easier,especially if you use Avery labels.

I think the printer was printing everything the wrong size, it's just that you could see it on labels. Letters were coming out small too. Hp1200 is fine on whatever it installs by itself.
