Hi all, i have an embeded label that I am using in excel to display errors (rather than msgboxes - if anyone has any better ideas for reporting errors please let me know) and this label is across the top and is being sized in relation to which columns are not hidden.

However here is my problem, as you hide and unhide the columns it makes the text in the label become distorted is there anyway of refreshing this label after it has been resized? (I have tried re-entering a new caption value and using the font command which both have not worked)

Any help would be most appreciated

Thanks

Simon

Select your label, go to Format, Control, select the Properties tab and check Don't move or size with cells

i know that solves it but I want it to size as when there are more cells open the error messages increase in length also.
