I have set up a report using the Label Wizard in Access 2000. I select Avery 5160 which is 3 across. After the fourth or fifth time I run this report some how all the address get pushed to the left most column and are mis-aligned in that one column, meaning pushed down by one line and printing off. This has happened 3 times to 3 different new reports I created all following the same pattern. They work at first and with no further modification start the above pattern. Any Suggestions. Thanks

sussex are you talking about the screen, or print of the report, there could be several reasons for it in print and very few reason on screen?

need to also know who the report is setout in design, is the problem with details report footer/header etc..

may make it easier to give you the correct advice.

Zero Anarchy

Zero Anarchy. It appears both on screen and in print. I have a macro from a switchboard that prints the labels automatically when pushed not going to a print preview. The label is in the detail section of report. It was all setup by the so-called label wizard. Again it seems to occur after the 4-5th time, and once it occurs it will not go back to the correct layout. Thanks, Sussex

I do not know if you have checked these but if not might be worth your time.

1.Print Properties, make sure the paper is set to the same as Page properties ie. A4 is A4 Sizes and so on and so on

2.Make sure that your alighment is left rather than centred as centred has a bit of a crawl problem

3. Check the margins

4. Make sure the paper is set in the correct place, sometime a work mate ould have lined it up wrong.

You are saying that after the 4 or 5th press of the button this is occuring, might be an idea to turn your macro into VB code and see if the same thing happens.

The only other thing I can suggest is to reinstall your printer drivers, or check the net for the latest driver.

The other thing is how many pages are you printing of before this error is occuring, as you said earlier the problem is occuring after the 4th/5th press but how many pages have come out before this happens, have you tried pressing it, closing down access opening it and pressing to see how many times before it goes down, might let you know if it is an access prob or a prnter prob.

Zero Anarchy

Thanks Zeroanarchy, I think the proplem was with the page setup. For some reason it lost the layout for the labels, as they were all reset while the new report had the correct layout settings. Hopefully it will retain these settings that I manually entered. Sussex
