Label ontop of combobox drop down, why?

I have a combo box in one of several panels in a window (using grid layout). When I use the combobox, the dropdown part goes down, but a label that is possitioned below it(in the next panel down) is shown on top of the dropdown (or, to put it another way,the combo box dropdown is shown under the label). The prog works OK but looks cr*p. what am I doing wrong

My guess is, that you haven't used any layout in the panel, where the combobox resides in. That can totally mess things up.

Other point could be, if you put the SAME combobox in several panels simultaneously. Try to avoid that!
