I am using Crystal Reports 8.5.0.217. The report has a table of four columns and three rows. The data serieses are the columns, and the groups are the rows. The problem comes when there is non-zero data in only one column.
In this case, the bar graph changes the color mode option to Color by Group from Color by Series. Attempts to change it back are overridden by Crystal.
When there is data in multiple columns, the labels are correct. When there is only data in one column, the labels match the group labels on the chart.
Is there a way to force the Color Mode option to be constant throughout a report?
