Lab PIX- 506 or ?

Which would be be recommended as a *lab* PIX.. this will never see the light of day as a production PIX.. strictly lab work for learning the PIX interface and Cisco Security. As far as I can tell, the 506 would be a nice box to start but it only has the two interfaces. On the surface that doesnt seem to be much of a problem but I would like to hear opinions.

HI.

If you need only 2 interfaces, go for the pix 501 model which is cheaper.

If you need more interface, then the minimum is pix 515.

If you are a reseller or a big enough client, you can also ask you local CISCO office to arrange a "lab-day" and practice at their own lab.
