LA CIE USB hard drive

Would SQL 2000 see the drive if I added a LACIE USB hard drive on the server and would I be able to create a DB on it?

It would probably allow it and would appear to work ok but will not be reliable.

see creating a removable database in bol.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
