L7680 faxing problem.

i have two HP L7680 all in one fax/scanner/printer machines.
when receiving faxs sometimes half the data is missing or blank, this problem does not happen when copying or scanning, both units come from separate phone lines.

this could be from phone equiptment being upgraded.
Try a firmware upgrade, even if same. Are phone lines dedicated?
