Hello all,
I'm having trouble trying to configure TSM 5312 on a AIX 5304 box, I can't get the tape changer /dev/lb0 but all rmt0, rmt1...are in the correct state. I have tried to define the library with smitty Tivoli Storage Manager Devices and no way i can't do it. Do you think I need ACSLS to manage the L700 library? or is it possible to manage this one with only TSM, if so wich is the correct way of doing it...Thanks in advance

You can manage this with TSM. Have you loaded the ATAPE drivers?
