Hi guys,
Got stuck here w/ my site-to-site setting. Here is the two servers at two different locations...
Network A - Win3k SP1 DC w/ 1 NICs (LA.domain.com)
NIC IP: 192.168.1.1 (private)
L2TP: 192.168.2.2 (router interface)
Static Routing: 192.168.2.0, 255.255.255.0, GW=none w/ L2TP
Network B - Win3k SP1 w/ 2 NICs (Irvine.domain.com)
NIC 1: 192.168.2.1 (private)
NIC 2: 20.0.0.1 (public)
L2TP: 192.168.1.2 (router interface)
Static Routing: 192.168.1.0, 255.255.255.0, GW=none w/ L2TP
I have set up the L2TP Demand Dial and the two servers connect perfectly. The servers are able to ping each other and clients behind them. However, the clients are not able to ping the opposite network. (i.e. clients at 192.168.1.? are not able to contact 192.168.2.?, vise versa.) What am I missing here? Anyone? If you need more info, please let me know. This should be my last step on getting this going. Thanks a lot, guys.
