I currently have a Draytek Vigor 2600 router which i have configured so i can VPN into it.

I use a laptop running XP Pro SP1 and use the Draytek Smart VPN Dial-Up Tool to connect to my VPN it all works ok, however i hate the client. could anyone suggest a good free VPN client that supports Pre-Shared keys, 3DES encyption and MD5, or can somebody talk me through using the standard XP client to be able to connect

cheers

i've been there, thanks anyway, but i think the problem is that the VPN server has a dynamic IP assigned to my domain name using dyndns.org however doing that route i have to specify the ip address of the server/tunnel endpoint which would mean changing it when my IP changes which really isn't up my street

i was hoping someone knows of a VPN client that is similar in function to the draytek, but more user friendly, i.e 1 click to connect, preferably free, but hey if i have to upto aroung 50 notes maximum

any help much appreciated
