KXTG 2357 : adding extra handset, security code

Hi,
I lost original second handset and got another one from the same 2357 set, but it doesn't work.
I know that there are 1000 security codes, so probably I need to reset it somehow on new handset, anybody know how to do this?
Could not find anything on manual.

i am not going to read the whole book for you but
2 secs in i see there is a way to select intial setting

have you registered the handset to the base unit? Page 54 of the Manual
