KXTES824 Handset Fault

Hi all,

I have been having issue with a basic handset on the system, it keeps losing its DTMF tones. So they pick up the handset, hear the dial tone but unable to dial out as the handset DTMF don't work. Is this a issue with the system or the handset?

what phone is it, is it a 77xx or a slt phone.

if an slt and you cant hear dtmf, it is the phone, check pulse/tone switch on phone
