KXTDA 30 - DID to analogue sets

I have a Panasonic KXTDA 30 with Caller ID installed, there is two CID cards in the system , one mounts as a
daughter board on the trunk board and provide CID to the Keysets, Tapi and SMDR.

The second board mounts in a slot to the right of the trunk board and provides CID to SLT sets.

Problem - the CID to the SLT sets does not work.

1) CID is on the trunk and displays on SMDR, Tapi and Keysets
2) If I unplug the SLT and put it on the analogue line ie direct to PSTN - the caller ID displays perfectly .
3) The CID card shows in the programming software as "EXT-CID" slot 8.
4) The SLT is on port 3 (ext 203) - this is the only device plugged into that port.


Any Ideas anyone?

Also any recommendations on TAPI software?

so to recap you have a LCO4 with a caller id card on it
you have the DHLC that came in the system you have a ext caller id card in a option slot and thats it

what do you have in extension caller id recource 1- ?
in system settings?

Yes we have an LOC4 with a CID card on it, this is the card that transmits the CID to SMDR/Keysets TAPI etc.
ECID extension caller id recource 1=Slot 01HLC4.

I know this is silly ? is 203 in the ringing icd grp?
also is xdp set does it ring up as 203 ? have you put a
butset accross the ext in monitor to hear if there
is any fsk comming down between rings?

Not at all silly - yes the phone rings.

I have solved it though, there is a setting in Ext Settings, page 7, Extn CID sending, enable - and the CID works for the incoming CID - reverse logic to me.

I went through each setting and one by one , turned on every feature and tested again.

I did this on day 1, but I was looking for Incoming CID settings as oposed to sending from the set.

This can be tested really easy, call from a keyset intercom and if the name comes up on the SLT - it will work and does for external generated CID.

thats funny by default that should have already been set
that way . I loaded the 30's maint console here for
with a default database for your benefit, we don't have the 30 here but looks identical
to our 50!!
