I know this is vintage but they are still out there. I have one ext that has low vol on int voice not ring. When you call no problem it rings fine but voice is low on voice announce. What setting could have been changed on the phone? The phn is kx 7431. This the only phn with this trouble. Tried swapping phns. This wouldn't be a port problem could it? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

When you swap the phone does the problem remain?

Ringing volume is independent of voice/speakerphone volume.

Yes swapping the phn didn't chg anything. I understand about rg vol being diff that's why i'm leaning toward a setting on the ext or the port.

Intercom 790 will clear any user programmable features on that extension.
