kxtd problem

have a problem with a digital handset (no display) on the KXTD, on incoming calls the intercom light does not flash so caller knows its outside call and can answer appropriately, on internal calls it flashes caller just says hi! however the intercom light has started to flah for incoming external calls, have tried the 790 code and also unplugging phone, any reason for this anyone can think of?

solved it, if the calls a ddi call the light will flash

apologises not solved, the intercom only lights not the line buttons

programmed a loop co button so it detects the call coming in and presents on the line keys

I'm with andymartin2006,
Programming a loop key on the set will fix the problem.

press 'PROGRAM'
dial '99'
press [desired programmable button]
dial '*'
press 'autodial/store'

lift handset to exit.
