KXTD 1232 No voice mail on extension that was moved.

I have a customer with a KXTD 1232 with a TVS50. They had a port going bad on the system where the phone would power off when it would ring so we moved the extension to an unused jack. I forwarded the phone to voice-mail on busy/no answer by using 7105165. The message was recorded and the voice mail picks up if calling from another phone after the set number of rings but if I call in from outside and dial the extension it rings and then says something on the order of "The person your are trying to call is not available. Thank you for calling" and then hangs up. Why does it not send to voice mail from an external call? Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Did you swap numbers on ports or change direct dial to new extension number

I changed the Extension numbers on the ports using "003 extension number" I'm guessing it has something to do with the auto attendant not transferring it to voice-mail. The system is setup so that when a call comes in it goes to the TVS50 on 165 and plays the message saying to dial an extension and then list the extensions. If you dial the extension it will ring the set amount and then it should go to voice mail but it appears to be bouncing back to the auto attendant instead. Calling form another extension it rings and then goes to voice mail. No other phone has any issues and I've move extensions on this system before without issue.

set new port / ext to fwd b/na to 165 it will bounce back if call fwd is not set

I forwarded it using 7105 to 165 on the phone and the light is flashing. If it wasn't forwarded it wouldn't go to voice mail on an internal call which it does. Unless I'm missing something?

double check ext number setting in mailbox program area if you dont have mailbox 103 defined as ext 103 calls wont make it to voicemail
