kx_dt521 compatiblity issue with kx-tda100d

Hi
I have panasonic KX-TDA100D with MPR version 5.1003.Customer brought kx_dt521 digital instruments and tried to connect with 100d but phones showing only 00000000 on display Is it required to upgrade system or these phones will not work with this.

Yes. There is a version 5.10 for the tda to allow the 500 series to work and you have to bring the extension cards up to v8. Not sure about the tda100d we dont have or i have never seen one over here
