Trying to get the maintenance console working on a new Windows 10 computer(build 19042) and I can't get it to recognize the usb port when I try to connect to a TVA50. Device manager shows that I am connected to the unit and correctly identifies it, but can't start the driver.I have set this up before on a different Windows 10 laptop(with a different build number), but can't seem to do so now.

Is anyone else having this problem or have a solution?

Thanks for your reply. I can load the maintenance console with no problem and have done it several times on previous builds of Windows 10.

When the installation program asks if I want to copy the usb drivers it returns an error that the operating system is incompatible. I downloaded the correct drivers from Panasonic and installed it manually. After installing the driver it correctly shows the voicemail in Windows device manager when I connect the usb cable, but then Windows explorer gives the error that that the device connected to the usb port has malfunctioned and is not recognizable, the device descriptor failed to load.

That has happened to me several times even with the KX-TDA series PBX. Try redoing it again with a few tricks. It will eventually work.

What might those "tricks" be? I have tried it multiple ways and have researched the Windows error. I have yet to find a solution that works.

Pm me, let's get it out of the way.
Try opening the specific folder or file for your windows 32 or 64 bit - copy the directory
Through device manager update from specifc location - the directory.
At some point you may have to disable and re-enable the device - as seen by the PC via USB cable
