Hi All,

I am having an issue with the BV for the 824. When we put the system into night mode which points to BV01, the call connects and hear the prerecorded message, however you leave a message and hang up but the call is still lit up on the handset on the CO line and no message indication light appears. We have to reboot the system to cut the line off.

Any Ideas?

yes been discussed before if you have bt pstn lines they don't have a proper disconnect CPC signal the panasonic has no idea the caller has hung up!

Ok so I get BT on the case! Does it still apply for feature lines?

Plus this feature did work early on in the day as I did leave a message and retrieved mSg, just bit odd!! However they do have 6 lines, 4 x feature and 2 x normal pstn. Might be why.

it should clear down if ends up in a mailbox. is there noise on the lines.

it should also clear down after max record time, default 5 min, max time it could be set for is 20 min.

how is it being sent to bv at night?

There is no noise on line.

Routing to the mailbpox is as follows:

User puts it into night mode and night mode goes to BV02 straight away.

Anymore help would be appreciated thanks
