I have a customer with a Panasonic TDE100 with a PRI. Able to make outbound calls. On inbound Caller ID comes in but when the call is answered the user gets a busy and the caller hears nothing. PRI provider says they test good. No alarms on PBX. If I hook up a POTS line calls can be answered. Any ideas?
 
I usually prefer that the Line provider tests the line (test calls) from the customer end before i connect to the customer's PABX.
This way i rule out whether it's the provider's issue or mine (on the PABX setup)

I have had several experiences when the provider says their line is fine only to be proved wrong.

Let me provider test the line in your presence using their own equipment.

In the meantime, may be you should double cross-check your settings as per their parameters.
 
Thanks for the reply. This system has been in place for 8 years. No changes have been made to the PBX. The provider came out and tested but I wasn't made aware of it until after their test.

Seems the PRI does not acknowledge the call being picked up. But the provider says that nothing is wrong on their end.

All system parameters are correct.

 
Have you done a trace under UTILITY and made test calls, this may highlight the issue.
