I am working on a KX-TDA-50 phone system. I just re-initialized it because the original installer changed the password and left town.
I have not worked on these, but I have worked on quite a few of the 848 and 824 KSUs. I have the UMC software and have got most of it set up.
What I cannot figure out, is how to get certain CO lines ringing on certain sets. On the other systems it is just a checkmark in a box on the extensions.
Not so on this one. Also, I have to set up delay ring on a couple of sets. Quick tips??

AND....this is really driving me crazy. Another reason I reinitialized the system was because I was not able to do PT programming with the PROGRAM *0# and default password. I was told by Panasonic that this has to be enabled through the UMC software. I DID THAT and I still cannot program from any of the sets. I noticed that in the COS Settings/Programming & Manager where you enable/disable PT Programming, the drop down menu shows only 3 options:
PROG **/*#
PROG ONLY
DISABLE

So does this system just NOT allow PT programming at all for the 3 digit programs?

Help!!

I forgot to post that I just have 6 analog lines on this system and I am using the 7667 sets.
All lines ring on all phones still.

I will check that out but what about the PT programming??

To enter PT programming you should press program * # then admin passsword on a handset

Make sure you have the relevant COS set up as Prog **/*#, enable manager
Once you've done this go to "Maintenance" > "Password" and then set up your passwords for PT prog

** = user programming
*# = admin programming

This system will not let me enter 3 digit program codes when I press *#. I am never prompted for a password, I just get some error beeps and can only enter 2 digit user programming. I verified that the options in the COS are enabled for PT Programming. It will not work.
