KX-TDA50 caller ID on SLT

I have a TDA50 with the following installed: LCOT4, CID4(5193), HLC4, PLC8. I have a SLT cordless connected to HLC4. (I do NOT have a SLC card installed.) In order to get caller ID from *outside* call on SLT, do I need to install TDA5168? I do not need to get caller ID from other extension, only need on calls from outside. Thank you.

Yes ! You need a tda 5198 and possibly a slcX card too but you might get station call info whether you like it or not!

Did you mean I need a TDA5168 instead of TDA5198?

Why would I also need a SLCX card? Does 5168 work with SLT connected to HLC4 card?

The xxx68 card works on 8 ports of exts in groups of 4.
It's option 2.10 in my MC. You assign each group of 4 to the resources, or each half of an 8-port card.

That was a typo thx LkEErie does that mean by adding that card you can get caller id on the dhlc that comes with the ksu?

Hi you guys might have answered it but I don't understand the system enough to get it... Could u pls clarify if I can pass caller id to slt connected to the hybrid extention card when I have both 5168 and 5193 installed in a tda50? Thanks.

I installed 5168. Now SLT pluged in Hybrid card can get caller ID from another internal extension, but on calls from outside, it only shows "Private Caller". Any ideas? (a DT343 pluged in the same card shows the correct caller ID so I know it is not the problem from the phone company)
