I have a customer that has placed call waiting on the last line of their hunt group. However, when the hear the call waiting signal, they are unable to use the hook switch to place the call on hold and answer the incoming call. It just does not work. Is there something in the programming that can create a soft key for a flash, or special changes to the programming so the hook switch "flash" will work?? Will the call waiting even work on this system??

Thanks,

You need to enable EFA (External Feature Access) on each extension you wish to use this.

As above, but there's a hundred reasons for NEVER having call waiting on a multi-line system. O.K. You put the person on hold to answer line 1 and another call comes in. Who is there to hear the CW tone? Meanwhile, the caller hears ringing without an answer. Better to get a busy signal than ring/no answer.
