Hi,

We have a Panasonic KX-TDA30 with 2 analog lines running through it via a LCOT2 card. Basically when you ring out on either line the call connects before the system see's that it has. When I call someone I can hear them as soon as they answer the call but they can't hear me. The telephone display still displays the dialled number for the first few seconds of the call and then switches to the line number and starts counting the call. I have no idea what this could be?

Thanks

I had that on a TDA100 about two years ago. Panasonic's answer was to upgrade everything (including the TVM50) to the latest firmware. That did not work.

Their second response was to go into the trunk card properties and disable the wait for CID carrier. That did not work either.

Fed up with having to drive nearly four hours (round trip) to 'try' their latest guess, after three visits on site I simply changed every card in the KSU except the MPR and performed a factory default. I then reloaded the unit from a backup file. That finally fixed it.

Are these calls being routed via auto-attendant?

from what i understand the problem is when dialing outbound so i would ask are you using any kind of Automatic route selection on the system or as asked above are these lines from BT or internet service provider.

It would seem there was possible something in the programming, maybe as rivet said, it was in the ARS table. If all else fails, do a backup, a factory default, and test it.

Thanx a bunch!
